Ruggs - Permelia Dazell

Dr. G. W. Miller's wife died on Wednesday last of consumption. Mrs. Chas. Ruggs died on Thursday last of consumption. These two ladies have been lingering with this fell monster disease for a long time, they fought it bravely, but as time rolled on they became weaker, and as the year 1868 was drawing to a close they passed from the stage of action never more to return. They each leave a husband and family and a large circle of friends to mourn their loss. They were both interred on New Year's day. Transcribed by: Tracy Jones 3-10-2002
